Parking is on the estate, and the final approach is the long avenue of plane trees — if you have reached the trees, you have arrived.
Most of you are travelling from Paris or Frankfurt. Open your city for the whole journey door to door, with times.
Gare de Lyon → Avignon TGV → rental car
Take the TGV direct to Avignon TGV station, then pick up a rental car for the last stretch — major companies operate right at the station. Keep the car through the wedding.
Drive the whole way
Only worth it if you are sharing the car with 3–4 people — the train is far more pleasant solo.
Frankfurt Airport (FRA) → Marseille Airport (MRS) → rental car
Fly nonstop from Frankfurt Airport to Marseille Provence Airport, then rent a car at MRS for the drive to the domaine. This is our top pick if the flight times line up.
Frankfurt Hbf → Avignon TGV → rental car
If you'd rather not fly: look for the direct high-speed corridor via Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Strasbourg and Lyon to Avignon TGV, which skips changing stations in Paris. Then rent a car at Avignon TGV for the last 35 minutes.

Formal chic · something colorful for the ladies
Formal chic for everyone — and ladies, the colourful half is aimed at you. We would love to look out at a room full of colour, so please be bold with it. Everything happens outside on gravel and grass, so pick shoes you can stand in all evening, and bring something for your shoulders once the sun drops.
Come any time from 16:00 — there will be a glass waiting and people you have not seen in far too long. The ceremony starts at 16:30, so if everyone is seated by 16:20 nobody has to tiptoe in.
Not laid on by us, we are afraid — there is no shuttle and no taxi rank out among the vines, so please plan your own way there and back. Almost everyone will drive. If you have a spare seat, offer it around; if you need one, tell us and we will help you find it.
Sadly not — the estate is ours for the day only. We have gathered the places the owners love just up the road in the Stay section above, and the closest are only a few minutes away. Do book early if you can: it is a small village and we are a big group.
June in the Vaucluse is generous — usually high twenties through the afternoon, and properly lovely once it cools off in the evening. The mistral does turn up without asking, so a light layer after dark is never wasted.

Honestly, you being there is the gift. Getting the people we love into one field in Provence is the entire point of the day, and nobody needs to bring a thing.
If you would like to give something anyway: we are saving for a safari in Africa. The dream is the two of us in a jeep at sunrise, out looking for the big animals in the wild — elephants, lions, giraffes, the whole impossible lot of them. Any contribution towards that would be very warmly appreciated, and we promise to come back with far too many photographs to show you.
